Report on the 5th All-Hands Meeting (Sapporo Industry Promotion Center)

The 5th All-Hands Meeting was held at the Sapporo Industry Promotion Center from August 27 to 29, 2026.
A total of 47 participants gathered for three days of face-to-face discussions on the research framework and objectives for Phase 2,
as well as the progress and future directions of the various initiatives within the project.

As part of our research capacity development activities under the "Research Skill Training Program,"
a poster session was held during the meeting, featuring presentations primarily by early-career researchers and students.
The following awards were presented in recognition of outstanding research presentations:

• Yamanishi Award: Risa Mitsuda (Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology)
• Sakuma Award: Maasa Yokomori (Chuo University)
• Shirasaki Award: Hiroki Wada (Chuo University)
• Kimura Award: Takumi Kariya (RIKEN)
• Sugano Award: Shoko Yamazaki (The University of Tokyo)
• Hayakawa Award: Kota Koike (RIKEN)
• Kamatani Award: Nariaki Kiyama (Kyushu University)
